


Crust
500gm Plain Flour
125gm butter
125gm margarine (*I used 250gm butter as I was running out of margarine)
100gm fine sugar
1 egg
Fillings
Sufficient amount of strawberry/raspberry/blueberry jam
250gm cream cheese
50gm butter
50gm fine sugar
1) Beat butter, margarine and fine sugar
2) Put in egg, beat well.
3) Put in flour bit by bit.
4) Knead dough and cut into rounds
5) Place into round metal cups (for tarts) –remember to wipe some butter into cups to ease the process of taking out after baking
6) Bake for 25 mins till crusts harden
7) Remove from metal cups (you can do it right after crusts removed from oven)
8) While crusts are baking, beat cream cheese, butter and sugar for the filling.
9) Place crusts in normal paper tarts cups, fill in half with cream cheese and another half with jam.
10) Bake for another 10 mins (DONE W THE AWESOME TARTS!)

Ingredients
24 OREO Cookies, divided
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3 (250 g) packages PHILADELPHIA Brick Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place 16 of the cookies in resealable plastic bag. Flatten bag to remove excess air, then seal bag. Finely crush cookies by rolling a rolling pin across the bag. Place in bowl. Add butter; mix well. Press firmly onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until blended after each addition. Chop or crush remaining 8 cookies. Gently stir half of the chopped cookies into cream cheese batter. Pour over prepared crust; sprinkle with the remaining chopped cookies.
Bake 45 min. or until centre is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Cut into 12 pieces. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

Hello everyone! i’m back after a loooonnggg break! i’ve decided to make shepard’s pie after my uncle requested to have it! hence, this is my very first try! Thank Almighty, it turn out good (: here goes!
Shepard’s Pie
Pie’s Crust
280g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp salt
125g cold butter
125ml iced water
5ml lemon juice (optional)
1) Sift flour and salt together
2) rub butter into flour until mixture resembles bread crumbs
3) mix water and lemon juice into dry ingredients to make a stiff dough.
4) knead well. separate into two with one bigger than another. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 1hr.
Meat Fillings
*Remember, you can edit the fillings. Its your choice (:
200gm of minced meat
1 1/2 onions
2 garlics
1/2 carrot
2 tsp tomato sauce
2 tsp soya sauce
2 tsp plain flour
1) put 2 tsp of oil. Put in onions and garlics.
2) put in carrot and meat till meat is tender.
3) put in other ingredients.
Boil 2 potatoes and mashed them. Put in 1/2 tsp of white pepper and put them aside.
To get Shepard’s Pie ready.
1) knead dough
2) cover the pan
3) Place in the oven *in order to make sure your pie looks good, cover the middle part with aluminium foil. to put some weight, place beans or grains on the foil. dont worry, you beans/grains wont be burned (:
4) after your crust turns golden, take it out. Press the mashed potato at the base and sides. place the fillings. cover with the balance dough. wipe 1 egg YOLK on the cover crust.
5) Put into the oven. wait till crust turns gold.
Remember, wait till it turns cool and then take it out from the pan!
Its been long since im here. well, i’ve been too busy with work and furthermore, i was hit by an accident that took some of my time. Now, im relying on a walking stick when im out and walking slowly when im at home. out of boredom, i called my godmum to ask the recipe of her simple yet scrumptious butter cake. and Thank Almighty, it turned out real good and nice (: the recipe is very very simple!
1 and a quarter bar of butter (250g + 63g)
2cups of self raising flour (you can also make use of plain flour and 2 teaspoon of baking powder)
1 and a half cup of fine sugar ( i used 1 and a quarter cup)
2 teaspoons of Vanilla Essence
5 eggs
Cream sugar and butter. Make sure you no more feel the sugar. Put eggs one by one. put in Vanilla Essence and bit by bit of flour. Grease your baking pan. place in and bake for about 30 mins (:
you can also put in some choco chips if you want to (:

hello! i am on mc today so i’ve planned to cook a dish for my family (: i’ve edited the recipe from Asmah Laili’s Recipe book. i think i edited almost 50% of it by asking my mum. and thank Almighty, it turned out real good! if only i can ‘upload its smell’ here. hee :D here goes! and ehem, recipe is in malay (:
Daging goreng atau ayam (ayam harus digoreng dahulu)
2 biji kentang yang dipotong dan digoreng dahulu
200 ml kicap manis
100 ml air
2 sudu cuka
3 sudu lada hitam
garam jika perlu (saya tidak menggunakan)
bahan-bahan yang seterusnya harus dikisar separuh dan separuh lagi dihiris.
5 biji bawang putih
3 biji bawang besar
2cm halia
2 batang cili hijau
cara-caranya (sungguh mudah!)
panaskan satu senduk minyak dan tumis bahan kisar dan bahan hiris bersama. tunggu sehingga bawang layu dan aroma yang sungguh wangi! letakkan kicap. tunggu sehingga mendidih. letakkan cuka dan lada hitam. letakkan daging/ayam dan kentang yang telah digoreng. letakkan air da seterusnya, tunggulah sehingga daging empuk atau ayam untuk diresap oleh kicap.
(untuk memastikan kentang tidak hancur, letakkan apabila daging sudah empuk)

Marble Pudding (:
i have always wanted to try this out. i remember having this as my favourite pudding when i was young. and thank Almighty, it turned out fine (:
ingredients A
1 packet of agar-agar
1 1/2 cup of sugar
8 cups of water
Ingredients B
2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
3 teaspoons of corn flour
250g of butter
1 can of condensed milk
Procedures
boil ingredients A together till everything is dissolved.
mix ingredients B together excet for cocoa powder.
boil up ingredients A and B together till it really boils up.
put in cocoa powder in 1/4 of that mixture.
so now you have a small portion of chocolate and another portion without chocolate, right? put in the choco-less portion and then put in the choco portion.
you will have a beautiful marble pudding after you’ve removed them from the fridge after about 2 hours (:

here’s my all time favourite dish! it is easy to prepare and can be eaten with either rice or bread. i got this from Asmah Laili’s Cookbook! (:
AYAM SAMBAL HUTAN
Blended items
2 sudu makan ketumbar biji
2 sudu makan jintan halus
15 biji lada kering
12 biji bawang merah (i used 5 normal onions)
8 biji bawang putih
2cm kunyit hidup
Blend all these together and put aside.
other items needed:
ayam
2 cm lengkuas
2 batang serai
garam dan guka secukup rasa. minyak untuk menumis.
cara-caranya:
gaul ayam dengan bahan kisar. panaskan satu senduk minyak. tumis serai dan lengkuas sehingga wangi. letakkan ayam yang telah digaul. masukkan sedikit air, garam serta gula.

HOMEMADE BROWNIE CHEESECAKE
its been one of my wishes to bake a cheesecake eversince i received a scrumptious cheesecake baked by my students. and few days back i pondered upon a note written by my friend in fb on her mum baking these delicious, simple cake! thanks hidayah! ((:
340g walnuts (optional) - i did not put this in because my family members dont favour nuts (:
90g cocoa powder
115g butter
use double boiling to mix butter and cocoa powder.
340g fine sugar (i used sugar powder cause fine sugar was not available at home)
4 eggs
115g plain flour
a pinch of salt and vanilla essence
These items are mixed together. (i sifted the flour and sugarpowder together to create the soft cake) place the batter in a baking tray and bake it at 180 degress or number 7 for my oven for about 20 mins.
1 bar Philadelphia Cream Cheese (i got this at NTUC Xtra for 5dollars)
1 egg
mix these together. after cooling your cake (make sure its really cool- you can place the tray on your lap) spread the mixture of egg and cheese on the cake. bake for another 15 mins and tadddaaaaaa, you’ve got the delicious cake! :D
